What Are the Best Alternatives to Agility PR Solutions in 2026?
The five alternatives we could check on the vendors’ own pages are Meltwater, Cision, Onclusive, Prezly and Semrush’s AI PR Toolkit. They fall into three types: enterprise suites with private quotes (Meltwater, Cision, Onclusive), a newsroom, CRM and email tool with published prices (Prezly) and a self-serve toolkit with published prices (Semrush). Muck Rack is the other big name in this market; we cover it in our Muck Rack alternatives guide.
| Platform | Published price | Contacts or database claim | Monitoring | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agility PR Solutions | None; quote after a form, annual billing standard | “1.1M+ media contact and outlet profiles” | Online, broadcast, podcast, print and social; “unlimited topic searches” | Agility |
| Meltwater | None; tailored, 12-month minimum on most contracts | “800k+ AI-verified profiles” | Media Intelligence and Social listening listed on every plan | Meltwater |
| Cision (CisionOne) | None; “Request pricing” | No database size stated on the pages read | “print, online, TV, radio, social, podcast & magazine coverage” | Cision |
| Onclusive | None; “Request a Demo” | Media Contacts Database & Outreach; size not stated | 3M+ online sources, 70K+ print outlets, 6K+ broadcast channels | Onclusive |
| Prezly | 100 / 250 euros a month billed annually; Enterprise custom | Your own contacts, up to 5,000 or 10,000 | Separate Media Monitoring tool “powered by OPoint”; price not on the plan cards | Prezly |
| Semrush AI PR Toolkit | $149 / $279 / $499 a month billed annually | 250 / 500 / 1,000 contacts a month from its media database | Online media monitoring from Pro; 50,000 mentions a month on Business | Semrush |

What Is Agility PR Solutions, and What Does It Cost?
Agility PR Solutions is a PR platform covering media relations, media monitoring, media intelligence, social listening and newswire distribution, and it publishes no prices. Its plans page groups versions by audience (PR teams and PR agencies) and says pricing follows a form and consultation, with annual billing as the standard cycle and USD, CAD and GBP as its main billing currencies (Agility plans).
Agility’s home page claims “2B+ news items indexed annually,” a “1.1M+ contact database at 99.6% accuracy” and “two decades of media intelligence,” and describes a Media Intelligence API that “delivers verified, structured media data into your own dashboards.” It also says “The Agility MCP Connector links Claude and other MCP-compatible assistants to your Agility account” (Agility). The plans page lists “Unlimited user onboarding training,” “Platform assistance via phone, email, & chat” and a “Dedicated account manager,” and its Newswire promises visibility “on 300+ international news websites.” Limits: no published price or trial, and the accuracy figure is Agility’s own.
What Do Agility PR Solutions and Its Alternatives Cost?
Only two of the five alternatives publish prices: Prezly from 100 euros a month and Semrush from $149 a month, both billed annually. Meltwater, Cision and Onclusive quote privately, as Agility does.
US dollars per month, billed annually, as published by each vendor
Source: Semrush, “AI PR Toolkit Plans and Pricing”; Prezly, “Pricing & Plans” (US-dollar offers in the page’s structured pricing data). Read October 21, 2026.
Prezly’s visible price cards show euros (100 and 250 a month billed annually); the US-dollar figures are the prices Prezly publishes in the same page’s machine-readable offer data. Agility, Meltwater, Cision and Onclusive publish no prices and are not charted. The plans include different things, so this is not a like-for-like ranking.
The chart shows a $120 to $499 band for the two self-serve options. Our recommendation, not a vendor rule: to compare them with a quote-based suite, ask each suite for a price at the same user count, contract length and monitoring scope, because no published list gives a baseline.
Is Meltwater a Good Agency Alternative to Agility?
Meltwater is the closest suite-level match, and it lists an Agency plan “Built for agencies managing multiple brands, clients, and campaigns.” The plan is described for three agency sizes (“Starter (small agencies / few clients),” “Growth (multi-client teams)” and “Enterprise Agency (large portfolios, global scale)”) and includes “API & MCP Integrations” and “Governance, workflows & permissions,” with no published price (Meltwater pricing).
Its Media Relations page claims “800k+ AI-verified profiles, always fresh,” “Beat and role change alerts,” tracking of “individual open rates, clicks, and bounce types” and “multi-user permissions and controlled access so agencies can collaborate” (Meltwater Media Relations). Agility’s 1.1M+ figure is higher, but the two count “profiles” differently and neither is independently verified. Meltwater requires a 12-month minimum on most agreements and offers no self-serve trial. See alternatives to Meltwater for the rest of that field.
How Do Cision and Onclusive Compare With Agility?
Both are quote-based PR suites that match Agility’s monitoring-plus-outreach model. Cision describes CisionOne as “purpose-built for PR and communications teams,” with media monitoring, instant insights and reporting, journalist outreach and social listening; its pricing page is a request form, and the group also sells PR Newswire distribution (Cision; Cision pricing). It states no contact-database size on the pages we read.
Onclusive lists a “Media Contacts Database & Outreach” product to “Find the right journalists and drive pickup with integrated outreach, message alignment and relationship management,” alongside Media Monitoring, Social Listening, Analytics and AI Brand Visibility, and claims 3M+ online sources, 70K+ print outlets and 6K+ broadcast channels (Onclusive). Neither page says whether agencies get multi-client features, so ask. See alternatives to Cision for more on Cision.
What Does Prezly Offer Instead?
Prezly is a newsroom, contact CRM and email-pitching tool with published prices; it is built around your own contact list rather than a licensed journalist database. Essential is 100 euros a month billed annually (150 billed monthly) with 1 site, 1 user and up to 5,000 contacts; Standard is 250 euros billed annually (300 monthly) with 2 users, up to 10,000 contacts, white-label sites and sending from your own domain; Enterprise is custom, with single sign-on and a “99% Uptime SLA” (Prezly pricing).
Prezly offers a 14-day trial with “No credit card required.” It also sells a separate Media Monitoring tool, “powered by OPoint,” that links coverage to its author, outlet and story and creates new media contacts automatically; that page does not show a price (Prezly Media Monitoring). Limit: contact caps of 5,000 and 10,000 are far below what an agency running many clients would hold in Agility.
What Does Semrush’s AI PR Toolkit Offer?
Semrush’s AI PR Toolkit is a self-serve journalist database and pitching tool with published prices. Base ($149 a month billed annually) includes an “AI-cited media finder,” a “Global media database with AI search,” journalist recommendations, a pitching tool and email analytics; Pro ($279) adds “Online media monitoring with AI support,” outlet audience data, contact exports and tracking of “which pitches led to earned media coverage”; Business ($499) adds competitor benchmarking and “50,000 media mentions to monitor per month” (Semrush AI PR pricing).
The plans allow 250, 500 or 1,000 contacts from the media database a month, and extra users are $20 a month each. The page’s general offer, “Try Semrush free for seven days,” is not described as specific to this toolkit. Limits: the monthly contact allowance is metered, unlike Agility’s unlimited searches, and print and broadcast monitoring are not listed.
Where Does Agility PR Solutions Still Win?
Agility still wins for agencies that want unlimited multi-client searching plus human help on one contract. Its agency version lists unlimited contact and outlet searches “across all clients,” “Unlimited custom media lists to segment client pitches” and tracking that integrates “traditional, digital, and social media tracking in one place for multiple clients,” and its Media Intelligence Services add “dedicated, expert media analysts” (Agility plans).
- Contact volume: the 1.1M+ claim is the largest stated here, against Meltwater’s 800k+; Semrush meters contacts monthly and Prezly holds only your own.
- Broadcast, podcast and print monitoring: listed alongside online and social, which Prezly’s plan cards and Semrush do not list.
- Newswire in the same account: Agility sells its own newswire; among the alternatives only Cision has a wire (PR Newswire) in the group.
- Where it loses: no published price or trial on its pages, so budget comparison needs a sales call.
Who Should Choose Agility, and Who Should Choose an Alternative?
Choose Agility if you are an agency or a large team that wants analysts and unlimited searches; choose Prezly or Semrush if a published price matters more than breadth.
| If you are... | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A multi-client agency | Agility or Meltwater’s Agency plan | Multi-client searching and permissions |
| A small team with its own contact list | Prezly | Published price, newsroom and email in one |
| A team that wants a self-serve journalist database | Semrush’s AI PR Toolkit | Published price; contacts metered monthly |
| A large in-house team with global coverage needs | Meltwater, Cision or Onclusive | Broad monitoring and outreach by quote |
| A company that only needs press release distribution | A wire, not a suite | See how much press release distribution costs |
This table is our recommendation, not any vendor’s claim.
Final Verdict: Agility PR Solutions or an Alternative?
For agencies, Agility and Meltwater are the like-for-like pair; for small budgets, Prezly and Semrush are the only options with prices you can read. A contact-database figure is a marketing claim, so during each demo search your own beats and check how many current, correct names come back.

Sources and Methodology
This guide is built from each vendor’s own public pages, read October 21, 2026. Agility PR Solutions’ pages block automated downloads, so they were read through a text-extraction fetch tool and quoted from its output; Muck Rack’s pages returned an access error again and are covered in our separate guide. Prezly’s US-dollar prices come from the structured offer data on its pricing page; the visible cards show euros. Figures are vendor claims as displayed and were not independently verified, and prices can change. The “who should choose” table is our recommendation. We did not test any tool or request quotes.
